Brendan Rodgers and Celtic are open to retaining Luis Palma beyond the winter market, according to El Heraldo.
The Honduras international has seen his game time restricted this season, with 219 minutes from nine games for Celtic this season.
Since the end of October, the winger made two appearances, and one was in Celtic’s 3-0 win over St. Mirren on Sunday.
On December 4th, Diario Diez journalist Gustavo Roca reported the 24-year-old would be open to leaving Celtic in the ongoing window. Later that month, La Prensa explained two unnamed MLS sides and Olympiacos have made approaches to sign Palma.
El Heraldo say unnamed clubs from France and Germany have made offers for the player. The report makes no mention of details of their proposals and Celtic have already rejected these two bids.
That’s because Brendan Rodgers’ side don’t rule out retaining the Honduran due to their number of fixtures left this season. Celtic may only change their stance if they were to be an offer of at least €4m in the ongoing window.
This indicates clubs from Germany and France didn’t meet Celtic’s €4m asking price.
