Brendan Rodgers didn’t utilise Luis Palma regularly this season and Celtic allowed him to join Olympiacos on loan with an option to buy in the winter market.

Last month, Fútbol Centroamérica stated the winger doesn’t want to return to Celtic as he feels he was mistreated by Brendan Rodgers.

The Honduras international played 515 minutes from 12 games for Olympiacos, managing a goal and an assist in the process. The Greek champions have decided against making the Celtic owned player’s stay permanent.

Sportime backs that up and then shares the latest on the 25-year-old’s future beyond this season. He has to look for a club in the summer window because the Scottish champions aren’t counting on him for next season.

Palma’s performances weren’t convincing enough for Olympiacos to buy him and he’ll return to Celtic Park. That hasn’t put off other Greek clubs, with Panathinaikos, AEK Athens and PAOK FC named as possible options.

The report states Panathinaikos had looked at the player while AEK had talks with Celtic before he joined Olympiacos. PAOK are in the market for a new attacker and Palma can be an option for them. The trio could look at the Celtic man in the upcoming window.

With Celtic no longer counting on Plama, Sportime state the possibility of him returning to Greece ‘shouldn’t be ruled out’.
