On Thursday, 1908.nl stated Burnley are making a multi-million effort for Feyenoord’s Quilindschy Hartman.
Voetbal International, relayed by Fr-Fans.nl, report the Clarets haven’t made an offer so far, but are keen on signing the left-back.
According to the outlet, Burnley officially confirmed their interest in the 23-year-old, likely to Feyenoord, on Thursday.
Burnley will return to the Premier League and are working to add the defender to their squad. VI states the Netherland international has already visited Burnley’s training facilities and also spoken to Scott Parker.
The Dutchman has just a year left on his contract and probably won’t sign an extension. This would force the Eredivisie side to sell Hartman this summer, to avoid any risk of losing him for free next year.
According to VI, the Dutch club have decided to sanction his sale this summer. There’s no mention of their request or if Burnley will make an offer, but the assumption would be one has either been made verbally already or is close to happening.
The fullback suffered a serious knee injury in March 2024 and was on the sidelines until January. Since regaining full fitness, he’s played 12 games for Feyenoord. Maybe the Burnley was also a chance for the Clarets to check out that knee.
