Burnley have offered €2.8m for midfielder Amir Hadžiahmetović that could rise by another €1.2m, but have seen the bid rejected by Konyaspor.

That’s according to journalist Gökmen Özcan, who details the two bids that the Turkish side have received for the 25-year-old so far.

Burnley have been linked with his signature throughout this month, with a report last week making it clear that they had tabled a bid worth around €4m for him.

Özcan follows that up today, explaining that Konyaspor have received two bids for the player so far, one from Besiktas worth €3.5m and one from Burnley.

The Clarets’ deal is structured with various additional payments, though, with it initially worth €2.8m net.

That would be followed by a payment worth €500,000 is Burnley are promoted to the Premier League this season and another €500,00 if they manage to stay in the top flight. There would also be a €200,000 ‘playing bonus’ included in the deal.

That, therefore, takes it to the €4m figure previously mentioned, although the reality is that it is highly incentivised.

Either way, the Turkish side are not interested and have rejected Burnley’s advances for now, perhaps hoping to get more for their man before accepting a deal.
