It’s said he’s a signing that could arrive to replace Barco, who’s once again wanted by Brighton.
The reason for it is that Barco has a contract with Boca Juniors until December 2024, meaning that by the next summer, he could sign a pre-contract with another club.
It’s said that the renewal is ‘not easy’ and ‘Brighton know it’. That’s why the Seagulls ‘will return’ for him in the winter market to pay for his US$10m release clause.
