As Brighton & Hove Albion continue with their attempt to sign Mohammed Kudus from Ajax, the Eredivisie giants want the Seagulls and the player to hurry up.
That’s today reported by Voetbal International, with them detailing the ‘ultimatum’ given to the player’s entourage.
Following reports from England claiming Ajax and Brighton have a deal, the Dutch website points out that the Seagulls have been ‘unable to agree’ the final personal details with Kudus.
The Amsterdam club are said to be uncomfortable with that situation, as they want to know whether the player is staying or leaving.
That’s why Ajax now made it clear that within the next 48 hours, the parties must find a deal. Otherwise, Kudus is staying at the club and the transfer would only happen if ‘mega amounts’ are offered.
It’s pointed out that the midfielder is ‘aiming for a transfer’, but for some reason there’s been some difficulty in finding an agreement with Brighton.
The claims from England say the deal between Brighton and Ajax is for a €40m transfer, so it’d be quite frustrating for the Seagulls if that can’t be done because they can’t convince the player.
