Brighton and Hove Albion forward Ibrahim Osman will be announced as a Feyenoord player this week after the two clubs agreed a loan deal for him.

That’s according to Voetbal International, who report that a deal has been struck for the player, who only joined Brighton this summer.

The newspaper reports that Osman will become a Feyenoord player this week, with the 19-year-old currently waiting for Brighton to complete final details of a loan deal with the Dutch club.

An agreement has been struck that will see Feyenoord pay a large part of Osman’s salary for this season, but there is no option for the loan deal to be made permanent.

Feyenoord see Osman as a ‘golden opportunity’ after his name came up when the two sides negotiated Mats Wieffer’s move to Brighton earlier this summer.

They had initially liked Facundo Buonanotte but he ended up at Leicester and so they pivoted to Osman, who joined the Seagulls in a €16m deal in January but only made the move this summer.

West Ham also made a late bid for him but have been beaten to the punch by Feyenoord, who expect to finalise the loan this week.
