Brentford goalkeeper David Raya has this week given agent Fali Ramadani ‘transfer authority’ to secure a move from the club this summer, re-opening the door to Bayern Munich in the process.
That’s according to BILD, who say the big-name agent is now working on the potential transfer and using his contacts at the Allianz Arena to his advantage.
Raya has been heavily linked with a move away from Brentford this summer, particularly after the club signed Mark Flekken as a replacement for him.
He’s yet to secure his desired move, though, with interested parties baulking at Brentford’s demands and others signing alternative options.
Bayern were believed to be one of them, with them on the hunt for a new goalkeeper but seemingly unwilling to pay Raya’s asking price.
That’s now changed, though, with BILD explaining that thanks to Ramadani being given ‘transfer authority’ by the goalkeeper, a potential move is ‘now completely open again’.
They explain that Ramadani is an ‘old acquaintance’ at the German giants because he also represents Bayern star Leroy Sané.
That’s opened up the door again for Raya, with BILD also insisting that there is still no agreement with any other club for the Spaniard despite claims in England that Arsenal are close.
He remains one of the ‘shortlisted candidates’ for Bayern as a result and the belief is that now Ramadani is involved, a deal could be done, even though Brentford continue to demand a ‘handsome’ fee for him.
