Willian is set to leave Fulham this summer, according to claims from South America.
Website Premier League Brasil reveals that the player decided not to renew his contract with the club, and is set to become a free agent.
According to their sources, Willian believes he can help clubs with bigger goals, and with Fulham set to see some stars go in the summer, he’s lost motivation to stay there.
It’s said that the player already has received approaches from clubs in the Premier League and abroad, and he’s now set to sit and analyse the offers with his agent Kia Joorabchian.
Not long ago, PL Brasil had another piece about Willian, saying Manchester United made an approach for him last summer. Erik ten Hag asked him to hold on for other market moves, though, and the player chose not to risk it, choosing to stay at Craven Cottage.
This new story says Willian will wait longer for offers this time, as a stay at Fulham is said to be ruled out, at least for now.
Willian joined Fulham in the summer of 2022, and in two seasons at the club, he’s scored ten goals and contributed seven assists in 67 appearances.
Now it’s a case of waiting to see who comes in for the 35-year-old.
