Juventus had a pretty impressive summer transfer window, which has elevated their squad for the current season.
They signed Pierre Kalulu from Milan but it seems as if there could have been a possibility of them landing another defender.
The player in question is Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi, who was also linked with a move to Fiorentina in the summer but things never materialised.
TuttoJuve have reported that the Argentine’s agent was pretty keen on making sure that the defender moved on from Bournemouth, however, the switch didn’t materialise.
He was ‘proposed’ to Juventus multiple times between June and August, yet the Bianconeri were always looking at other profiles and targets. They never considered the idea of buying him and let the opportunity pass.
It’s stated that Bournemouth only considered a permanent sale and wanted between €20m and €22m for the exit.
Should Senesi’s agent be looking around for a new club that it obviously calls into question the player’s long term future with Bournemouth and will be a situation to keep an eye on.
