As Manchester United’s interest in Gleison Bremer starts being taken very seriously by the Italian press, they now begin to wonder what Juventus would do in case of his departure.
It’s Calciomercato who today talks about that possibility, pointing out that Juventus are already eyeing some potential replacements for the Brazilian.
Regarding Bremer, it’s said that even though he recently renewed his contract with Juventus, his entourage agreed with the Old Lady to value a potential move.
It’s said this subject came up mentioning the Premier League ‘in particular’, as the defender ‘has always planned’ to feature in English football at some point in his career.
Manchester United are once again named as the main contenders for the signing, with Calciomercato saying the Red Devils would need ‘at least €70m’ to get him.
The sale doesn’t seem to be Juventus’ intention, as it’s mentioned that his time at the club may be far from over, but still, that offer would make the club take the deal into consideration.
Manchester United may have a great defensive duo with Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martínez, but since they rarely manage to play together, an investment in a new centre-back wouldn’t be a surprise, especially if the likes of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelöf were to be offloaded in the next transfer window.
