At the end of the season, Arsenal will part ways with Aaron Ramsey.
The Wales international has already agreed a deal to join Juventus in the summer, meaning the Gunners will have to bring in a replacement for him in the same transfer window.
According to Marca, Joan Jordan of Eibar is the among the ‘best placed’ candidates to replace Ramsey.
The Spaniard has made 27 appearances in the league and majority of those appearances came when he operated as a central midfielder, whilst he has also been used as the attacking midfielder and on the right wing this season.
It is claimed the 24-year-old’s performances for the La Liga outfit have drawn attention from England, including the north London club.
Jordan’s current deal with Eibar runs down at the end of next season, and he has a release clause of €15m in his contract.
Marca states the player’s employer would want to avoid losing him on a free transfer next summer and wants to raise cash from his sale later this year.
For this reason, Eibar are ready to sit down with Jordan to ‘negotiate his departure’ and this could come as good news for Unai Emery’s side.
The report further states that Jordan could be one of the ‘unexpected transfers’ of the upcoming window and Arsenal have already taken a position to sign him, if Emery pushes seriously for the move.
