Jakub Kiwior has managed to become a regular at Arsenal and remains a back-up option in the squad.
So far in the campaign, the Poland international has played only 321 minutes across all competitions.
Considering that, links with a move back to Italy are never too far away for Kiwior and there is now interest from Napoli for Arsenal to consider.
TMW today state that Napoli is a ‘possibility’ for the left sided defender. AC Milan wanted to sign him 12 months ago but the Gunners didn’t want to let him leave at that point.
Even now, Arsenal are said to be quite strong in their stance for the defender.
They are very clear that they will not accept a loan deal for Kiwior, who will not leave until a significant fee is paid.
They want a fee of around €20m to €25m and so far, no one has met that asking price. Given Serie A clubs are often looking for Premier League bargains, and expecting loans first, this looks like a big hurdle.
