Arsenal and Liverpool would need a ‘highly immoral offer’ if they were to convince Eintracht Frankfurt to sell Hugo Larsson in the January transfer window.
That’s according to SportBILD, who report that the German club have absolutely no intention to let Larsson depart midway through this season.
The newspaper reports that Larsson has become a key player for Frankfurt since arriving last summer, making himself an integral part of the team and earning plenty of admirers.
Big European clubs have him on their list and a report recently named Arsenal and Liverpool as being among them. According to SportBILD’s information, the pair have been watching the national player for a long time.
Frankfurt are aware of this and have made it clear that they don’t want to sell the midfielder in January. Only a ‘high immoral offer’ could tempt those in charge to think twice about that.
There’s also doubt about whether Larsson would want to leave anyway as he feels at home at the club and only extended his deal of 4 October.
Arsenal, Liverpool and others could test that resolve if they wish but it will take a big bid for them to do so.
