Luis Palma has returned Celtic to after spending the second half of last season on loan at Olympiacos. He won’t be part of Brendan Rodgers’ plans next season as the manager has already said the Honduras international will leave again on a temporary deal this summer.

On Thursday, the British and the Polish press reported Lech Poznań’s concrete interest in the winger. It was also said negotiations with Celtic are at an advanced stage.

The Honduran media provide the latest on the operation to take Plama from Celtic to the Polish club.

Diez.hn report the Scottish champions have reached an agreement to let Palma join Lech Poznań on loan with a purchase option.

His agent, Paulo Hernández, carried out the negotiations, and the move could see the 25-year-old enjoy more minutes in Poland.

Another Honduran outlet, Fúbol Centroamérica, claims the Celtic man will travel to Poland on Saturday to carry out medical tests. They add Lech Poznań will make Palma’s signing official on Monday.

It’s claimed the attacker will wear the No.77 shirt for Lech Poznań next season. His camp would have most likely leaked this information to Fúbol Centroamérica.

Palma could be in contention to make his debut for the Polish club in their Champions League qualifiers against Breiðablik UBK later this month.
