Abdoulaye Doucouré has regained prominence at Everton since Sean Dyche arrived at the club towards the end of January.
The midfielder has made nine league starts this season, out of which seven came in their last seven matches under Dyche.
Doucouré scored Everton’s second goal in their 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest and registered an assist in their 1-0 win over Brentford at the weekend.
The Mali international has a deal expiring in June and the Merseyside club have an option to extend it until 2024. They are unlikely to exercise it despite the 30-year-old being a regular under Dyche.
That’s according to Fotospor in Turkey, who state the ex-Watford man’s agent has ‘offered’ him to Beşiktaş. It’s said the Everton player could join the Black Eagles if their manager, Şenol Güneş, ‘approves’ the operation.
As it stands, Güneş hasn’t given that approval since his preference for midfield is to sign Hull City’s Ozan Tufan [contract until 2025] and Fenerbahçe’s Miha Zajc in the summer. The Slovenian has a deal expiring at the end of this season.
