Everton have been dragged into the mix to sign AC Milan’s Emerson Royal in the winter market.
On Tuesday, we covered claims which stated the Toffees had initiated contacts to ask about the right-back. It was also reported the Serie A side will listen to offers as they look to get rid of him.
That’s because the Rossoneri are close to signing Manchester City’s Kyle Walker and want him to replace Emerson.
Calciomercato point that out again and mention Everton when covering the latest about the 26-year-old.
Galatasaray have already stepped forward and are in pole position for the Brazil international. They have already held talks for a loan deal with an option to buy set at €15m.
This formula doesn’t please Milan, who are requesting the fee [€15m] they invested to buy the defender from Tottenham Hotspur last summer.
Emerson’s agent Stefano Castagna has also held talks with David Moyes’ side and Fulham over a potential deal. The agent is offering Emerson around, and Everton haven’t taken the bait.
