Earlier this week, we covered claims from Italy which stated Napoli remain interested in signing Alejandro Garnacho, having failed to secure the Argentine during the January transfer window. It was claimed, in the Italian report, that Manchester United had dropped their price and Garnacho should be available for around €45m in the coming months.

The other Premier League player most linked with Napoli in recent weeks is Tottenham Hotspur’s Dejan Kulusevski. It’s been repeatedly reported the Spurs attacker is a long term target for Antonio Conte and it’s now stated on a near daily basis in Italy.

That said, it’s not thought that Kulusevski will be as accessible as Manchester United may again make Garnacho.

AreaNapoli report Conte ‘has a dream for the new Napoli’, and  – you’ve guessed it – that dream comes in the shape of Dejan Kulusevski.

Napoli sporting director Giovanni Manna is described as being at work to try and make the transfer happen. There’s no mention of a potential fee for a player described as Napoli’s ‘ace up the sleeve’ but it’s almost certain they’d be quoted more than for Garnacho.

Even if Kulusevski was to agree to a move, the fee Tottenham want could kill the dream before Manna has truly got started.
