If Sport/Foot in Belgium are to be believed, then Liverpool are on the verge of signing a 15-year-old winger from Anderlecht.
The youngster in question is called Jeremy Doku, currently plays for the Jupiler Pro League side’s U17s, and will sign a contract with the Reds on May 27th of this year.
Why is the date known? Because that’s when he turns 16 (per Transfermarkt, at least).
According to Sport/Foot, Doku is represented by Stellar Group, the same agency who look after a certain Gareth Bale, which will have undoubtedly helped him get a move to England.
With an agreement already found, all that needs to be done is for pen to be put to paper, and Jürgen Klopp will have another youngster to mould at Anfield, something he seems to be very good at.
This all comes after a change of ownership at Anderlecht, where the new men in charge are trying to keep the best talent at the club, knowing that, if they develop like Leander Dendoncker or Youri Tielemans, a profit can be made down the line.
When it comes to Doku, however, they know they’ve already lost.
