If you didn’t already know, Brice Dja Djédjé isn’t having the best of times at Watford, and he’s made that position very clear in recent weeks.
First voicing his discontent back in his native Ivory Coast in an interview with Sportmania.ci, the right-back then talked to L’Equipe to reach a larger audience.
Continuing his tour of media outlets, the Watford defender was invited to talk about his current situation on SFR Sport, surrounded by former France internationals Frank Leboeuf, William Gallas and Emmanuel Petit.
He said, relayed by Le Figaro: “A return? I’d like that, why not. I spent some really good times in Marseille. I was very happy to play in that club. You take pleasure in as a footballer there”.
Considering the Ligue 1 side only have Hiroki Sakai in the role, using winger Bouna Sarr as a stop gap if rotation is needed, bringing Dja Djédjé back, who is keen to play football regularly again, might not be the worst idea.
Again, that’s if the Hornets let him leave, which they seem reluctant to do for some reason unbeknownst to the player.
