Marca: Paul Pogba’s transfer to Manchester United now ‘paralysed’

 

Paul Pogba returning to Manchester United was always going to be a complicated transfer. As one of the biggest moves in the history of football, if not the biggest move, things dragging out was never going to be a surprise.

However, perhaps the reason things are dragging out is what is surprising. Mino Raiola flying over to Miami to speak to Pogba, fits in with the claims that it’s the agent trying to persuade his client. The idea being that Raiola has agreed a deal, and now Pogba just needs to give his nod to it.

That’s the line being pushed by Spanish newspaper Marca on Tuesday, who say Pogba’s indecision has ‘paralysed’ the transfer at this stage. it’s certainly not dead, but just a little stalled.

The second theory could be, although this is a Sport Witness hunch and not Marca, that things may be agreed and Pogba and Raiola just fancy a few days soaking in their success, before the craziness starts.

If Marca are right and ‘the Frenchman does not know where to play next season’, it’s probably time for him to make his mind up and stop stringing everyone along.

Marca say Real Madrid are still lingering in the background, pending any possible sale of James Rodriguez.
