Justin Bijlow’s move to Southampton from Feyenoord will be an initial loan deal, that will become permanent after 20 games.
That’s according to Voetbal International, who report the goalkeeper is ‘closing the door’ on his time at Feyenoord and heading to the Premier League newcomers.
Reports throughout this week have had Southampton closing in on a move for Bijlow, who is keen to leave after being left out of Feyenoord manager Brian Priske’s plans.
A report earlier today stated that the goalkeeper was set to travel on Sunday to sign his deal with the Saints after the clash with Sparta Rotterdam.
Voetbal International don’t say the same but do insist that a deal is done, and the player will be leaving Feyenoord.
They say he will sit on the bench against Sparta and then head to England on Sunday, before adding that Southampton are initially signing him on loan. That loan will then become permanent for €8m if he plays 20 games.
Like their Dutch counterparts, they seem to consider the deal done and it just a matter of time before it becomes official.
