Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush, the German media today reveals.
Sport Bild features a story claiming that the player turned into one of the ‘surprises of the season’ following his start with the Bundesliga star.
Marmoush was signed by Frankfurt on a free transfer from Wolfsburg, and so far, has 12 goals and three assists in 23 appearances.
That apparently drew the attention from a few clubs, with the outlet claiming that Tottenham and Newcastle are ‘already looking into’ his performances.
Frankfurt seem to be getting ready for a potential sale, as it’s claimed they already estimated his departure price at €30m.
The German club should be pretty calm for now, as they have him under contract until 2027, but are getting prepared for the offers that potentially arrive.
With the story not leaving any signs that Newcastle or Tottenham would like to get Marmoush signed as early as the winter window, this is probably a story that will drag until the summer.
And if he continues to do so well, we can expect other clubs to join that race.
