Club ‘advance’ to sign Tottenham player – Efforts ongoing to reach agreement with Spurs, want to defer payment

On Thursday, Vamos Mi Sevilla FC reported Sevilla see Tottenham Hotspur’s Bryan Gil as a market opportunity and his asking price of €7-8m is within their reach. It was also stated he would be delighted to return to the Andalusian club.

The winger has found it difficult to feature regularly under Ange Postecoglou this season, so transfer rumours have grown.

Another report from Vamos Mi Sevilla FC claims the Spanish club ‘advances in the hiring’ of the Totenham player.

The La Liga side ‘don’t want to miss’ the opportunity to sign the 22-year-old. Taking his age, profile and desire to return to Spain into account, they’ll make an effort to secure his services.

Real Sociedad are also in the picture and therefore, Sevilla would have already made the ‘first contacts’ to sign him.

It’s claimed the club are trying to reach an agreement with Tottenham, by deferring the €7-8m fee, with payment starting from next June. It’s not made clear if Spurs would be willing to accept these terms.

The report adds Sevilla’s salary limit means they’ll need a departure first.
