“Really, really, really bad” – Tottenham player expresses his annoyance in very clear terms

Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski has claimed the officiating against him in Sweden’s 3-0 loss to Belgium on Friday was “really, really bad”.

The forward was speaking to Afton Bladet after the defeat yesterday, in which a Romelu Lukaku hat-trick saw Sweden comfortably beaten in the opening game of the UEFA Euro qualification campaign.

The game proved to be an extremely frustrating one for Kulusevski and his Sweden teammates, who despite nine shots in total and four on target, could not find a way to breach Belgium’s goal.

That was not a problem their opponents had, as they converted three of their five shots on target to secure all three points.

The Tottenham star, who Afton Bladet say was his country’s best player in the game, was undeniably frustrated by the result.

But, when speaking to the newspaper after the game, it was the standard of the officiating, and the fact he received a yellow card when others did not, which clearly angered him.

“I think it’s really, really, really, really bad,” the Tottenham man said.

“How many free kicks did I get against me? Maybe 10-12 and zero yellow cards. Then a guy will come in playacting and then I will be punished. It’s a really, really bad level, but what can you do.

“I want to see that we forget this and drive on. No one should feel sorry for themselves. The support today was fantastic, it was so much fun as a player to hear the crowd keep fighting so I hope they come on Monday too.”
