Earlier today, we relayed claims that Eduardo Camavinga’s agent would like to ‘bring him to Manchester United’, while the Rennes star prefers a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
It isn’t the first time the Red Devils have been linked with the midfielder in the ongoing window.
Over the last month or so, various reports coming out of the French press stated the Premier League side are ‘ready to go on the offensive’ and are expected to make the ‘first offer’ for the 18-year-old.
Neither has yet happened and a source close to the player has now told Sport Witness there has been no talks with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side so far.
Rennes manager Bruno Génésio had earlier stressed the France international has an “important decision to make for his future”, but he hasn’t made that ‘decision’ yet.
The same source has also informed us ‘at the moment, it’s unlikely’ for Camavinga to leave the Ligue 1 side before the window closes.
If Rennes don’t tie down the teenager to a new deal and fail to get him out of the club in the summer, they could risk losing the young talent for nothing in 2022.
