It now looks like Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic could have a few options to leave the club this summer.

Following his loan spell at Porto last season, it had been claimed many times by the Portuguese media that the Dragons are working on signing him on a permanent move.

Then on Wednesday, it was written the player was informed that other clubs have been joining the race for his transfer.

Now the news comes from Italy, where it’s said that Sassuolo are interested in Grujic.

According to Sky Italia (via Sassuolo News), the Serie A side opened talks with Liverpool to sign the 25-year-old. The negotiations are ‘ongoing’, even though it isn’t said how much the Reds will demand for the move.

Recent claims from the Portuguese media said the Anfield side want €17m for the sale, and with Porto struggling to afford it, the arrival of Sassuolo can only be positive for the Premier League club to find a good deal.
