Watford’s Pervis Estupiñán will be spending next season at Osasuna, according to Cadena Ser.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan with Mallorca, making 19 appearances for them as they finished fifth in La Liga 2.
That appears to have caught the eye of Osasuna, who have moved quickly to tie him up as a replacement for Carlos Clerq, reports Cadena Ser.
However, Osasuna don’t plan on announcing the deal for Estupiñán until after the La Liga 2 Play-Offs are over.
The Watford-owned Ecuadorian is still at Mallorca, who are 2-0 down to Deportivo La Coruña and play the second leg of their Play-Off final on Sunday.
In the meantime, Osasuna’s intention is to announce the signing of Ruben Garcia then Barça striker Marc Cardona. By that point, Estupiñán will be finished with Mallorca.
As far as Cadena are concerned, though, the deal is already finalised and awaiting confirmation.
It won’t take long to find out of they’re correct.
