Since Tiemoué Bakayoko joined AC Milan on a loan deal at the start of the season, we’ve read all kinds of stories about the midfielder.
As he had not impressed at first, it was claimed that the Rossoneri were unlikely to activate the buying option over him. Then it was said the Serie A club would ask for a discount so they would decrease the €35m amount.
But now Milan are pretty convinced that Chelsea will be making no discounts to let the player go for good, according to Calcio Mercato today.
It’s claimed that at the club’s headquarters, they ‘know’ the Blues aren’t changing the price, even because of FIFA’s sanction which is forbidding the London side to make signings in the next two transfer windows.
Regarding the sanction, Calcio Mercato also claims that it would be very ‘convenient’ for Chelsea to have Bakayoko back, this time in great form, to their squad.
But they will depend on Milan’s decision for that.
