Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is well known by European clubs as a tough negotiator who won’t let any of his players leave easily.
Still, it’s quite funny to read AS‘ report today about the businessman’s alleged reaction when he found out Real Madrid are interested in one more of the club’s stars.
According to the outlet, Levy was ‘set in anger’ once he was told that the Galacticos now see Christian Eriksen as a long term replacement for Luka Modric at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The story isn’t new, as it happened in late October, but is only told now by a source who’s described as ‘an internationally known agent who has a great friendship with Levy and who was visiting London these days’.
AS confirms that Eriksen should be one of Real Madrid’s major targets for the summer, along with the likes of Eden Hazard and Kylian Mbappé. The Spanish side, however, have a pretty good experience of knowing how hard Levy will be when negotiating for the Danish star.
Once again quoted, AS’ sources claims that “actually, Levy gets mad when they touch any of his players”.
