Three days ago, we covered claims from Germany which stated Eintracht Frankfurt have held concrete talks with Leeds United over signing Rasmus Kristensen this summer.
There’s been a new development in this case as the right-back is ‘about to move’ to the Bundesliga side.
That’s according to Bild, who state the Leeds player was scheduled to arrive in Frankfurt on Thursday, to carry out the transfer formalities.
It’s claimed Eintracht Frankfurt are negotiating with the Whites for a loan deal with an option to buy set at €15m. The two clubs should find an agreement, considering the 27-year-old was allowed to make a trip to Germany yesterday.
The transfer is expected to be completed before Eintracht Frankfurt travel to the United States for the pre-season tour on Monday.
Sky Deutschland journalist Florian Plettenberg took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to back up Bild’s claim that the Denmark international will move on on loan deal with a buying option of €15m.
Plettenberg says there’s an agreement between Eintracht Frankfurt and Daniel Farke’s side. He adds the Leeds fullback was scheduled to arrive in Germany yesterday, and will have his medical ‘on Friday’.
Tipsbladet are also reporting that the two clubs have found an agreement, and Kristensen should carry out medical tests and sign the contract with Eintracht Frankfurt today.
