Back in February, Sports Digitale explained that Aston Villa showed serious interest in Beşiktaş’ Semih Kılıçsoy.

Fast forward to July and the Premier League side have taken necessary step to try and sign the 18-year-old this summer.

That’s according to journalist Ertan Süzgün, who took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to claim Aston Villa have made an offer for the forward.

He says Unai Emery’s side have proposed money plus Álex Moreno in exchange for the 18-year-old. There’s no mention of the fee offered by the Villans, but it’s deemed low and has been rejected by the Istanbul club.

Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu also took to X to provide on this case. He says Aston Villa have offered €18m plus Moreno on loan for a season in exchange for Kılıçsoy, and this didn’t convince the Black Eagles.

As well as Aston Villa, Fulham have made an offer to sign the youngster. On Thursday, Sabah stated Marco Silva’s side made a €20m bid, which was turned down by the Turkish club, who want at least €30m to sanction Kılıçsoy’s sale in this window.

The Turkey international managed 12 goals and three assists from 35 games last season.
