Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Rafa Mir has insisted he will talk to the club about his future come the end of the season as clubs in Spain line up for his signature.
Mir has been in impressive form out on loan with Huesca this season, scoring 12 goals for the relegation-threatened side in La Liga so far.
That has earned him the attention of the big clubs in Spain, with Barcelona, Sevilla and particularly Atlético Madrid all thought to be keen on a move come the summer.
Indeed, a report from Spain today indicated that Atlético are ready to make their move, with Diego Simeone’s side desperate to add to their forward line and Mir, who is valued around €15m, an old target for the club.
Their potential pursuit is bolstered by the fact that Wolves are happy to sell the striker, although the interest from the likes of Barcelona could put a spanner in the works.
Much will depend on what Mir decides to do, and he says there will be conversations about his future at some point.
“Interest from other teams? These things happen; we know how it works,” he told MARCA.
“It does not distract me from my goal, which is day-to-day: training and the game on Sunday.
“When the year ends we will talk to Wolves, who are the owner of my rights, and see what path we will take.”
