Ed.nl have confirmed PSV will not be selling Jürgen Locadia to Wolverhampton Wanderers in this transfer window. Earlier today the 23 year old was said to be on the verge of a move to Wolves, after the Championship side tabled a bid for the forward.

It’s been reported three forwards will be staying at PSV at least until January, which includes Locadia (Wolves), Luuk de Jong and Steven Bergwijn. Ed.nl report PSV technical director Marcel Brands has pulled out of all three transfer deals, and it seems like Wolves won’t be bring in Locadia before the deadline.

It’s even stated Wolves had put the player through a medical, but then the transfer was cancelled.

Today we covered reports Wolves had tabled a bid in the region of €11m, and it seemed the deal would be announced in the coming hours. This will come as blow to Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo, who would have been keen to bring in a forward before the window closes.

There seems to be more to this one than meets the eye, and like in most cases it may come down to money. Perhaps there’s a chance Wolves can save the deal.
