Wolverhampton Wanderers have received a boost in their pursuit of Anderson Talisca after a claim in the Turkish media it’s unlikely he will be at Besiktas next season.
Wolves have been linked with the Brazilian in recent weeks.
Turkish newspaper Fotomac report Talisca doesn’t want to stay at Besiktas if the club aren’t in the Champions League next season. The Brazilian is owned by Benfica but there’s a purchase option in the loan deal.
Besiktas are currently in 4th place, 4 points behind leaders Galatasaray in the Turkish League, meaning the Istanbul club are unlikely to feature in the competition next season.
Whilst Wolves won’t be in the competition either, they have the benefit of being a Premier League club, which brings a whole new attraction.
Besiktas need to be in the top two for Champions League football, so the chances of Talisca staying at the club are now considered slim say Fotomac.
Last month we covered reports from the Turkish press that Wolves are interested in signing Talisca this summer. Recently Wolves confirmed their place in the Premier League for next season, and are already looking at bolstering their team.
Talisca and Wolves is a story that will never die, and the Portuguese press have been pushing it in recent weeks, along with some reports from England.
