With Antonio Conte all set to become the new Tottenham Hotspur manager, plans are already put in place for the winter market, and the Italian media cannot contain their excitement.

Earlier today, Sport Mediaset reported the Italian wants the signings of three to four players in January. Another report from the same outlet details the specific players the former Chelsea manager is looking at.

Sport Mediaset say Fiorentina chiefs Joe Barone and Daniele Pradè have been in London, for a meeting with the Premier League side’s leaders, to discuss Dušan Vlahović.

The Serbian is under consideration at Tottenham to replace Harry Kane, whose suitors are always at the window.

In midfield, Conte thinks of Marcelo Brozović. The Croatian’s contract expires in 2022 and he hasn’t found an agreement yet with Inter over a new deal. The uncertainty around his future ‘could favour Tottenham’, who could think of a swap deal with Tanguy Ndombele.

Apart from Conte’s former player, AC Milan’s Franck Kessie remains a concrete goal for Fabio Paratici, even if Paris Saint-Germain are currently ahead in the race to sign him.

The 52-year-old also has his former players, Stefan De Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni, along with Lazio’s Manuel Lazzari, on his wishlist.

Sport Mediaset state: ‘Conte has not yet landed in London, but the market is already in turmoil. And Serie A is now trembling.’

Over at Calciomercato.it, they say the incoming manager at Spurs has ‘very specific requests and wants big purchases’. It’s explained he has requested a transfer budget of €280m, which feels unlikely.

Juventus’ duo of Federico Chiesa and Matthijs de Ligt are on Conte’s radar. The former is valued at €80-90m, while the Dutchman is worth around €70m.

Brozović and De Vrij are also on his agenda. The midfielder, just like Milan’s Alessio Romagnoli, could arrive for free next summer. If Conte wants them in January, they would cost around €20m and €10m respectively. Vlahović is also in the coach’s target list, and he is valued at €60m.
