With Torino still hopeful of keeping Nikola Vlasic from West Ham United following his loan spell, it seems they’re now making their effort for the signing.

La Stampa, relayed by TuttoMercatoWeb, says club director Davide Vagnati already place the new effort for the 25-year-old, as was reported on Wednesday.

The report claims West Ham’s reply could arrive ‘within the weekend’, or, at most, by the start of the next week.

It isn’t exactly said how much Torino are putting on the table, or even how much the Hammers would like to accept the sale.

Vlasic was loaned by West Ham to Torino throughout the 2022/23 season, and with five goals and eight assists in 37 appearances, he left a very good impression there.

The Turin side have always expressed their wish to keep him, but seem to struggle a little to make a convincing offer for the Premier League side to sell.

The Croatian player is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €17m, although it’s a little unlikely that Torino will reach that amount.

He’s well protected by the Hammers with a contract running until 2026.
