Sevilla forward Youssef En-Nesyri is ‘seduced’ by the idea of playing for West Ham United as the Hammers push to secure his signature.
David Moyes’ side moved for the 23-year-old earlier this week, with a €30m move rejected by the Spanish side.
They have since returned with an improved €40m offer, which is believed to be the price that some at Sevilla, including Monchi, are willing to accept to sanction a deal this month.
Throughout this week its been reported that some at Sevilla are resistant to letting the player go, believing it would be wise to wait and get a bigger deal at a later date.
The player has also reportedly been against a move, having enjoyed himself at Sevilla since his arrival from Leganes a year ago.
That may have changed, though, with Sport reporting that he is ‘seduced’ by the idea of playing for West Ham, who they also say will be upping their bid but don’t back up claims of a €40m offer.
This all comes coming in a piece covering the work Sevilla chief Monchi is doing this month, with it looking likely to be a busy end to the transfer window.
To be clear, it’s the exact opposite of what is being said elsewhere, with other newspapers saying En-Nesyri wants to stay for the time being.
That suggests he is ready to reject Wes Ham even if their improved bid is accepted, although Sport now provide a small hope that won’t be the case after all.
