Noussair Mazraoui has found himself heavily linked with a move to the Premier League over the past week or so.

West Ham United and Manchester United have been credited with interest, and over the past 24 hours it’s been the Hammers who have looked to push the deal forwards.

Manchester United were thought to be waiting to see what happens with Aaron Wan-Bissaka before they decided whether to make a serious move or not.

Bayern Munich need to sell players in order to bring in new signings themselves, and they’ve seen a deal for Matthijs De Ligt to move to Manchester United slip away. As far as the Bundesliga club saw it, that was a chance to get €50m.

Therefore, things have got a little desperate with others. Florian Plettenberg reports West Ham and Bayern Munich have ‘reached an agreement’ over Mazraoui’s transfer.

That will see the London club pay €15.5m plus a potential €4m in bonus payments.

Regarding personal terms, there’s said to be a verbal agreement on that too.

Plettenberg says it’s not a done deal yet because certain financial details need to be clarified, which may be related to payment terms.
