There’s a fairly reasonable chance that even Federico Chiesa is growing tired of claims around his future, but it’s his agent Fali Ramadani who appears to be trying to shop the Juventus player around the Premier League.
At the end of last week and the beginning of this he was repeatedly linked with Tottenham Hotspur, although that’s now gone quieter.
CalcioNapoli24 have been covering links between their local club and Chiesa, and as part of that they’ve got quotes from an agent, who also used to be a director at AS Roma, and he talked about West Ham, Manchester United and Chelsea being keen.
Chiesa’s Juventus contract has less than a year to run and he could be signed for as little as €20m, or maybe even less as the window grows older.
West Ham, Manchester United and Chelsea surely have other priorities in the coming weeks, yet there’s every chance Ramadani has been trying to them to sign his client.
There was a claim on Tuesday in Italy that Chiesa could even decide to run his contract down and sign for Inter Milan as a free agent next summer.
