West Ham United are the latest club to be linked with Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto. The Czech youngster has impressed for the Serie A side this season, and has also been linked with West Bromwich Albion in the past week.
Gazzetta dello Sport have reported clubs from the Premier League are monitoring Jankto, including the Hammers. West Ham boss Slaven Bilic will be looking to strengthen his squad during the next window, and the 21-year-old is an option for the Croat. The attacking midfielder has four assists and three goals in twenty league appearances this season, which has brought him to the attention of other clubs.
West Ham will face competition from West Brom to sign Jankto following reports last week they too are interested in signing the Czech U21 international. The Premier League club have intentions to travel to Italy to get a lowdown on Jankto before deciding whether to pursue him in the summer.
Tony Pulis, just like Bilic, is keen to bolster his squad during the summer and both clubs are already being linked with a wide variety of players.
