West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama, say Turkish newspaper Takvim.
It’s claimed the Turkish giants are looking to sell some of their players in the summer to raise funds for incoming transfers, and Luyindama is one of those, along with his central defensive partner Marcao.
Takvim report West Ham are following Luyindama’s situation closely and the agents are working hard to facilitate a move between the two sides, with the suggestion West Ham could offer up to €15m to sign the player.
Luyindama has been impressive for Galatasaray since he arrived from Standard Liege at the start of last year. The 26 year old has been on the sidelines with a knee injury, which he picked up when playing for his country in November.
We recently covered reports from the Turkish press which said Galatasaray were on the verge of selling Luyindama to Aston Villa before his injury.
Luyindama’s contract with Gala will expire at the end of June 2022.
