It’s always interesting when two outlets contradict each other, as it makes you think where each’s information has come from.
Over the weekend, FutbolArena reported that West Ham’s Sofiane Feghouli had rejected a €2.8m/year offer from Galatasaray, but that talks were expected to continue over the coming weeks, despite the two clubs agreeing on a €5m fee.
This was reported on the 15th of July, so Saturday, yet Football365’s version of things in France is completely different, despite being published on the exact same day.
Down their end, the French website claim discussions between the West Ham forward and the Turkish side are very advanced, with the player agreeing a four-year deal with Galatasaray that includes a signing on fee ‘others would find difficult to compete with’.
As well as contradicting FutbolArena on that aspect of the deal, Football365 also state the holdup in the deal is because the two sides are yet to agree on the transfer fee.
Who to believe?
