Galatasaray’s pursuit of West Ham winger Sofiane Feghouli has received a blow after the Algerian international rejected a €2.8m per year offer from the Turkish giants, report FutbolArena.
The Turkish website have claimed Feghouli’s agent has informed the Galatasaray board they are rejecting their offer, but talks between the two parties are expected to continue in the coming weeks.
West Ham and Galatasaray have agreed a €5m fee for the 27 year old, but the issue now is the player agreeing personal terms.
Feghouli also wants a €3m signing on fee from Galatasaray, the same amount of money he’ll get from West Ham, as part of his signing on fee, if he stays with the Hammers, but the Turkish giants will not meet his demands.
The attacker is currently at West Ham’s Austrian training camp, but his future with the Premier League side is uncertain, with Galatasaray and their local rivals Fenerbahçe showing an interest in the player.
Feghouli played 27 games for West Ham last season, scoring 4 goals.
