After impressing for Fortuna Düsseldorf on loan last season, Dodi Lukebakio of Watford is attracting interest from clubs across Europe in the summer transfer window.

Earlier this month, reports coming out of France suggested the forward has been identified as a target for Lille.

The Ligue 1 side are set to part ways with Nicolas Pepe and L’Equipe reported the Belgium U21 international is expected to replace the Ivory Coast international.

Germany’s Kicker now bring another update about Hertha Berlin interest in the 21-year-old.

It’s claimed the Hornets owned player has emerged as a ‘candidate’ for the Bundesliga side, who are looking to strengthen the right side of their attack for next season.

Hertha have identified four targets and the list includes Lukebakio and Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson, who spent last season on loan at 1899 Hoffenheim.

There’s no further information given, especially related to what any deal would cost, and that’s where Lukebakio claims usually start to stutter.
