Milliyet Besiktas journalist Serdar Saridag claims the Turkish club are still working on a deal to sign West Bromwich Albion attacker Nacer Chadli.
The Super Lig side have been strongly linked with Chadli this summer and there are reports in the Turkish press Besiktas manager Senol Gunes is keen to get the player.
Saridag says Chadli’s versatility is seen as a huge bonus aming the Besiktas technical staff and the Istanbul club are still hoping to get a deal done.
The 29 year old attacker could still leave West Brom despite the English window closing earlier this month. The player has yet to feature for the Baggies this season due to injury.
It’s been well documented in recent weeks Besiktas are keen on signing Chadli and Saridag reports the Besiktas board now wants to make the fans happy by loaning the 29 year old.
With the Belgium international failing to get a return to the Premier League this gives Besiktas a better chance of landing him with their transfer open until next week.
Chadli is contracted to West Brom until June 2020.
