Sunday’s edition of Sport reported that signing for Arsenal is the ‘only possibility’ for Barcelona’s Denis Suarez.
On January 7th, we covered another report from the same publication, who claimed the midfielder has an approval from the Gunners manager Unai Emery and they are in ‘pole position’ for the 25-year-old.
Tuesday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo has an update on the former Villarreal man and it’s explained that this week is decisive for the Spaniard’s future, after he’s struggled for regular minutes at Camp Nou this season.
It’s explained that during the decisive week, Suarez hopes to seal his exit and make a switch to the Emirates on a loan move. As a part of the deal, the north London club will have to sign the player on a permanent transfer at the end of the season.
The Catalan newspaper’s report mentions that the Premier League club are not in a position to pay the transfer fee in the winter market, which is why they state Arsenal will sign the Barcelona midfielder initially on a temporary deal.
