Paulo Dybala’s contract at Juventus runs down in June and the Old Lady’s CEO, Maurizio Arrivabene, confirmed on Monday the player will leave the club as a free agent after this season.
The forward has been linked to clubs in Italy and across Europe, and Tottenham Hotspur fall into the latter category. Inter Milan have been named as the main contender to sign the 28-year-old.
That suggestion has been dismissed by Sky Italia, who state the Serie A winners ‘must make economic assessments’ and get rid of some of their own players before considering an approach for the Argentina international.
Sky Italia then go on to name Atlético Madrid, Barcelona and the north London club as potential options for Dybala.
There have been ‘some contacts’ between his camp and the La Liga winners in the past, but that has not been reopened now. Barca, on the other hand, are his old obsession.
Dybala ‘does not want to preclude himself from any road’ and would also ‘make a thought’ for the Premier League, where Antonio Conte’s side are in the mix to sign him.
Meanwhile, Foot Mercato state the attacker has asked about Paris Saint-Germain. The Ligue 1 side are not alone as the report says Atlético, Inter, Milan and Spurs are also looking to sign Dybala on a free transfer in the next window.
That’s two sources now claiming Tottenham, who showed interest in the South American in the past, are in the picture to sign him on a free transfer in the summer.
