Manchester United’s 3-1 victory over PSG in the Champions League, which saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men progress to the next round, is going to be having repercussions for some time yet.
Two goals from Romelu Lukaku and a winner from Marcus Rashford saw PSG sink into another Remontada hole and damage the whole outlook at the French club.
On the evening of the defeat to Manchester United, Adrien Rabiot ended up in a social media controversy. The midfielder, ostracised from the team because he won’t sign a renewal, was seen to be in a Paris nightclub… having a really good time.
Paris United report that even before the nightclub incident, Thomas Tuchel had become tired of the player’s attitude in training.
Rabiot is now further ostracised from the group, and barred from video sessions.
It’s worth noting that there’s likely to be anti-Rabiot propaganda at play with some of the claims coming from France.
Albeit weakly, Rabiot has been linked with a move to Manchester United recently, on what would be a free transfer. That would certainly be an interesting switch following the Champions League match.
