Like any world class striker, Sergio Aguero is the subject of occasional transfer rumours.

The latest, albeit very weak, claims coming from Spain say the player could leave Manchester City to join Real Madrid in the summer, but the gossip has been killed stone dead.

That’s because as written my Mundo Deportivo today, Aguero is going anywhere. The Catalan outlet managed to contact his entourage, and have the claims ‘dismissed’ by people close to the player.

Mundo Deportivo highlights Aguero’s current form at Manchester City, and says Pep Guardiola considers him to be very important for the squad.

Sheikh Mansour also gets a mention with the report saying he ‘denies’ to sell such a player, even though the Argentine international is considered a ‘fantasy’ for Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Sergio Aguero currently has 27 goals in 36 appearances for Manchester City this season.

In a recent interview with the South American media, he claims he still doesn’t know if he will finish his career at the club.
